Overview
The Creekside Shotokan Karate Club is a martial arts program located in the Creekside Community Centre, located in the Olympic Village near downtown Vancouver.
Dojo History
Joel Nikitman formed the Creekside Shotokan Karate Club in the summer of 2010, immediately after 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Following the Olympics, the Olympic Village became a mixed-use community with residential living spaces, area parks, and various retail and service outlets. The downtown Vancouver core view is simply spectacular, especially at night.
